Introduction to Yarn Manufacturing

in #science7 years ago

Yarn manufacturing is the branch of Textile engineering in which our final product is clean and fine yarn. This process is the fundamental of textile engineering because this is the basic process in which we achieve required properties in our final garment. So this process should be carried out carefully to produce quality yarn.
Yarn manufacturing is a process in which fibers from raw form are converted into clean and neat fibers then twisted together to convert into yarn. In this process there are following stages:
Ginning: Ginning is a process which is used to purify the incoming raw material to get fibers. It means that leaves, seeds and other impurities are removed from raw cotton to convert it into fibers. These fibers are then transferred into textile spinning industry for further processing.
Blow Room: In this process fibers are passed through different types of rollers, beaters, pins, and drums to remove impurities like dust and dirt particles, seeds, leaves, stem particles and other added impurities. Final product of blow room is a lap sheet.
Carding & Drawing: In this process that lap sheet is further processed to remove all impurities left behind to convert into almost pure form and along with this these fibers are drawn to increase their length to convert them into sliver (Stretched form of fibers to convert them into rope). This sliver is collected in drums.
Roving & Ring: In this process sliver is passed through different types of mechanisms in which these fibers are converted into fine yarns. These yarns are winded on cones.
Packing and dispatch: After converting into cones or packages these are transferred into packing department to dispatch them to further process or to customer.

PVC knife-coated fabric is a durable material created by applying a pvc pvc kife coated fabric substrate using a precision knife-coating technique. This process results in a strong, weather-resistant fabric ideal for applications like outdoor furniture, awnings, and industrial covers. The PVC knife-coated fabric offers excellent durability, water resistance, and UV protection, making it a popular choice in various industries.
