Graphene, the material of the future.!!
Greetings steemers, a few years ago I was watching news and information for a university research. In the midst of this, I stop, because a material left me totally perplexed, it was the graphene.
Really, everything I read I couldn't believe it, at that time I was a boy of... about 19 years old? I don't remember ... I read information for several hours, until finally I feel satisfied and made me a lot of illusions about the subject. Well, how good is this stuff?, here is the BOMM!, grab your seat : O.
Graphene, the material of the future.
"... The graphene is a substance consisting exclusively of carbon", and it has the quality that its atoms are united in a special way, this allows to have excellent electrical and physical characteristics, which I mention below:
It is 100 times harder than steel, even harder than a diamond.
The graphene is originally transparent, although by having similarities with graphite it can sometimes be seen with a metallic silver color.
It has incredible flexibility, even more flexible than carbon fiber.
The graphene is a very light material, which in addition, a derivative of this, can absorb 900 times its weight.
It is an incredible conductor both of heat and electricity.
Because it is composed of carbon, and in the air there are a lot of carbon ... if you get to break part of a sheet of graphene, it repair himself. Crazy, huh?
This is when I say: what is this? An electric and improved version of the spider web?
I'm short on listing them, but I invite you to make your own search for information of this world. And now you'll think, ** What have they done with this, what are the possibilities for this material? **
Many, most: electronic and electrical, can even behave like a superconductor when interacting with another superconductor. To mention some of the applications, it can be applying in: batteries, touch screens, sensors, voltaicas plates, solar panels, filters, mechanical parts, paints, etc., etc, etc.Awesome!, but ...: why is my phone not against falls, ultra thin, and faster than my computer or at least automatically charged with sunlight yet?
Hey not everything is rosy, unfortunately not yet achieved an industrial way to manufacture the graphene on a massive way. It is a reality that the graphene exists, and that its properties will revolutionize the world, but we still have to find the way to produce it, to take it to the store and that with a minimum salary you can buy the product, instead of an annual salary XD.
