Exactly, what ancient alien theories generally regard is awesome things ancient people built because they were every bit as smart as us that we have not yet figured out how to replicate. It is a pretty awesome show though.
As an aside there is an awesome guy on youtube who demonstrates primitive technology who in one of his videos cuts a hole in a stone using a bow drill and another stone, maybe that is the trick.
