Virtual Reality Conference Room
Jackson Research is hosting Virtual Reality (VR) Conference rooms.
Conference rooms can be tailored to your specific needs. This includes images, pdf documents, mp4 videos and solid 3D objects. You can connect using Oculus, HTC Vive, Google cardboard or an ordinary 2D monitor. The VR 3D goggle experience is definitely more intense and fulfilling, but 2D monitors are also very effective. If you are new to the VR experience, 2D monitors may be the best first choice until you become comfortable with the technology; this also reduces initial cost, since headsets can represent a major expense for a large group.
Why put several dozen people on commercial airliners, pay for their hotels and other expenses and lose valuable work time in transit, when everyone can attend the conference from their own office or home? Why expose the entire contents of your laptop to customs agents? How does anyone work on a laptop they have taken with them, without exposing Company Confidential Information to the hosting country when they transit customs? In some cases, the laptop may not be allowed in the passengers cabin or prohibited altogether. Have you been strip searched by airport security lately? None of this is ever a problem with VR Conferencing.
What if you want to conduct training or educational classes and there is a shortage of classrooms and audio visual equipment? You never have to schedule physical facilities with VR Conference Rooms. And, a full suite of audio visual equipment is built into it.
Regular flights back and forth across the US are bad enough. Suppose you have a client that requires your regular attention and he lives on the other side of the world. Do you send a full time marketing agent to live there and handle infrequent meetings? How do you deal with visas and associated legal fees in such complicated situations? Have you created a complicated international tax liability for yourself and your company? None of this is ever a problem with VR Conferencing.
What if you are building a water treatment facility? Suppose you already have 3D CAD wire frame drawings, aerial photos and video taken by drones over the facility. We can transform the 3D CAD drawings into textured 3D models for display as finished models within the auditorium, without actually building a real physical model, along with photos on the white boards and screen projections of the drone videos. Data and charts could be projected onto the various screens along with time lines and cost analysis. All of this is possible without leaving your office or home.
Are you environmentally conscious? VR Conferencing could minimize the environmental damage caused by millions of people flying around the world on business.
VR Conferencing requires the participants to download a specialized software application and install it to their PC or cell phone. Yes, it works on cell phones. Setting up the conference rooms can be a daunting task and that is where we come into the picture. Your "Team Manager" can handle much of the document processing and uploads. Our "Admin", a Team Member, can help with this online and manage event organizing . However, converting solid objects for display may be far beyond the skill set of your own IT staff. 3D solids modified for upload into the VR Conference environment requires serious skill with some very high level software that is not learned over night. Hiring a full time employee specialist can be quite expensive, especially for infrequent events. We have a team of specialists available to handle the most complicated 3D models already in place.
VR Conferencing is simple, direct and inexpensive compared to the alternatives. We can handle the entire process for you without creating complicated expensive travel arrangements. You will never be exposed to abusive customs and airport security agents. You can conduct events in Virtual Reality that previously only large corporations were able to finance and organize. All of this is happening now 24 hours per day 7 days per week.
