The Aero TrainThe Aero Train
The Aero Train is a vehicle on a special road, with the air support provided by its compressors. It was invented by Jean Bertin. Jean Bertin presented in 1963 a 1/12 scale model of his idea to allow to incredible speeds.
First full-sized prototip was 22 meter built and it was 80 passengers capacity.The second prototip reach 417 km speed and set a world record in 1974.
When 1975 Bertin died and project were cancelled.Nowadays you can see abandoned parts several location in France.
Aero Train was a forerunner magnetic trains which use magnets.Today it can be considered the base of the magnetic trains that can reach high speeds.
