The discussion gets heated, as The Multiversity Project debates whether there’s any basis for believing that the mind has a quantum component to it. Could neurotransmitters be in superposition? Can quantum biology shed any light on how our mind works? And is our knowledge of neurology still in an early, speculative stage, or is it advanced enough that we know all the important things? In a discussion which touches on quantum mystery, the history of science and the brain, we dive deep into the great mysteries of science.

I dislike mysticism disguised as science. Of course the brain has quantum components. Electrons are quantum particles governed by quantum mechanics. But that doesn't mean we can then import mysticism into the discussion any more than we need mysticism to explain why gold is yellow.
