Successful ZUMA mission and return of the fist stage.
Just finished watching the successful launch of of the Falcon 9 carrying the ZUMA space mission. The payload is a highly secret military satellite built by Northrop Grumman.
This is the first launch this year from SpaceX and looks to have been a perfect launch and return of the first stage booster. We have become pretty blasé about the return and landing of first stage boosters, I am always amazed at the the accuracy of the landings. To land a booster on a raft at sea or in the middle of a target marked out on a landing pad always amazes me.
What gives me great hope for the future of space flight is the young age of the scientists and engineers at SpaceX. I take my hat off to them all.

The next milestone is going to be the launch of the Falcon Heavy, scheduled for launch at the end of January. This is is what I had hoped for after the first moon landings, it has been a long time coming but finally it seems that private enterprise is going to set us a course to the moon, Mars and beyond.
Hahahaha, who would have Zuma and success would be in one sentence? ;)
indeed these words contradict each other
