The Pareto Principle In Steemit

in #science7 years ago

Hi Steemian, at this time I want to share an information with you all. I don’t mean to teach you, because here we learn together. But I just want to share an information with you all.

As per the title, today I will discuss about the Pareto Principle in Steemit. This Pareto principle was presented by business management thinker Joseph Moses Juran, who named it by the Italian economist Vilfredo Pareto, who in 1906 observed that 80% of the income in Italy is owned by 20% of the population.

This principle can be applied to almost anything:

80% of customer complaints arise from 20% of products or services.

80% of schedule delays arise from the 20% chance of delays.

20% of products or services account for 80% of the profits.

20% of sales force produces 80% of company revenue.

20% of system defects cause 80% problems.

If we look at the Pareto Principle stating "for many occasions, about 80% of the effect is caused by 20% of the cause". So only about 20% of Steemit users who control 80% of the effects that occur in Steemit. Similarly, the payment you receive from steemit. 20% of Steemit users get 80% Steem Dollar (SBD) circulation. They can be a big success because they are paid more than 80% of other users who only get 20% of SBD circulation.

Then, why do 20% of these people get paid so high? Why exactly do 80% of other people get little? Is that unfair? I think it's a very fair division. 20% of these people work harder, do more, focus and more consistently. No matter the value of SBD is up or down they remain consistent.

20% of these people even regard steemit as a field with the crops they plant in it so they take so much care of the plant, watering, cultivating and even keeping it growing well. They invest their time and energy to write and think about quality articles. And that's what they do, every day and every time until it becomes habits and lifestyle. So they can succeed at Steemit.

So, the decision is yours. You want to belong to the 20% or the 80% group of all you specify. If you want to be 20% and want to get paid more, then do it more seriously and consistently. It takes persistence and patience to achieve it.

I think enough for today. See you soon and do not forget to follow my account to get other useful information. My account focuses on useful info useful to all of us. May we all be given health so that we can meet again on another occasion.
