3 facts about the Moon

in #science7 years ago

The moon is the closest companion of mankind in our journey into space, and also the only heavenly body that we visited.

1 . Moonquake
There are four kinds of moonquakes: the first three — deep lentracte, the vibrations from the blows of meteorites and thermal lootrisone caused by solar activity, are relatively safe. But lootrisone fourth species can be quite unpleasant. Usually they make up 5.5 points on the Richter scale — enough to begin to tremble small objects.

2 . Lunar anomalies
In some pictures, made by different satellites seen very strange things on the moon's surface. It seems that the moon has artificial constructs, the size of which varies from very tiny, usually having a parallelepiped shape, to the obelisks at least 1.5 km high.

3 . Moon and sleep
The influence of the Moon and Earth on each other can not be denied. Nevertheless, the influence of the moon on people is a source of constant discussions. Many believe that the full moon is the cause of people's strange behavior, but science can not provide convincing evidence for or against this theory. But science agrees that the moon can disrupt the cycle of human sleep.
