HOMEMADE PREGNANCY TEST WITH SUGAR.

It is said that, only women knows how they feel during pregnancy, as it is one of the greatest and important stages of their lives. There are a lot of tests and options out there to confirm pregnancy which among are the homemade method which is recommended at the initial stage. It will therefore be necessary to know how to check pregnancy status with some sugar. It is inexpensive as some women are made to do the test multiple times.

THINGS NEEDED.

Sugar ( if possible the white one)#

A well cleaned bowl ( a well sterilized or else it may affect the results)

PROCEDURE.

Put 2-3 teaspoon of sugar into the bowl
Wait until you feel urinating
It is recommended you urinate directly into the bowl
Wait for the response from the sugar in the urine
If it is observed that the sugar melts in the urine then the results will be interpreted as negative (not pregnant)

If the sugar does not dissolve but clumps up in the urine, it will interpreted as positive (pregnant)

RECOMMENDATIONS.

The white sugar is highly recommended than the other types of sugar
It is recommended to the test in the morning time with the first urine after waking up
It is recommended to urinate directly into the bowl with the sugar than collecting it somewhere before adding it into the bowl with the sugar
If results is found to be negative, you can try it within a couple of days

HOW DOES IT WORK.

This process is able to take place due to the action and a property of the Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG). HCG is a hormone that is known to be present in the urine of pregnant women, it helps in the reaction between the urine and sugar. If the urine contains the hormone, the sugar will clump, which will be considered a sign of pregnancy.

NOTE.

Conducting the test at early stages may give negative results only, so don’t conclude after the first time; try it often (2-3 days) as it is inexpensive. Again, those taking certain medications may also have negative results, drinking too much water before the test too can influence it. It is important to consider all these factors before performing the test.
