RE: Introducing Boid — The Social Supercomputer — Boosting Scientific Distributed Computing & Expanding Access to Blockchain and Cryptocurrency
I saw that the payouts are in BTC, where does that come from?
Good question. As the platform continues to grow we will be adding additional protocols. So in addition to contributing to distributed computing, the users will also be able to contribute resources to mining different crypto and offering storage space to distributed storage projects. The mining and storage will generate $crypto for the Boid ecosystem.
Boid tokens are also going to be traded on multiple crypto exchanges, which offer liquidity for BOID tokens that are earned to be exchanged for top $crypto.
Sorry I dont understand, where does the crypto come from to pay the people who are doing the science? If its just through mining, then the miners are doing their part for free?
