NASA is Planing to touch the sun.
The Parker Solar Probe will depart in June 2018 and is set to orbit the Sun in 2024 .
This spacecraft is set to be the first ever to reach deep into the sun's atmosphere. The Parker Solar Probe will be going to cost Nasa around $1.5 billion to build and to launch.
Parker Solar Probe is the size of a small car, an it will circle within four million miles of the sun.It will be flying around venus seven times to get itself into the orbit around the sun in December 2024.
The temperature is very high there, so spacecraft have to survive temperature upto 1,300C (2,500 F).The probe is expected to orbit the sun 24 times, edging closer on each pass. It is scheduled to launch in july 2018.
