I really like the idea of the solar refrigerator, because I believe it would help farmers in rural areas make more money, because lack of electricity has been the major cause of poverty in rural areas. These farmers work very hard on the farm, but Bacause of lack of easy access to roads, they can't transport all their produce, and hence most of them watch their efforts rot away. This solar fridge will give them the opportunity to preserve their produce for a much longer time, so they can transport them to the city where they can be bought. And this has a ripple effect, in that the more money these rural farmers have, the more these farmers can send and pay for their children's school fees, and hence the better the society.
