My first scubadiving in the Philippines

It was last year when I tried my first scubadiving in the Philippines. I chose "Bohol" out of many potential destinations in the Philippines because of its reputation for great marine environment, crystal clear water and good price for scubadiving courses.

작년에 필리핀 여행을 가면서 처음으로 스쿠버다이빙이라는 레져스포츠에 도전하게 되었답니다.
필리핀이 가격적인 면이나 접근성 때문에 다이빙 교육으로 인기가 많은데요! 그 중에서 물이 깨끗하고 아름답기로 유명한 보홀으로 다녀왔어요ㅎㅎ

You don't have to be good at swimming at all because you rely on scubadiving equipments and it's more important to know how to operate them.

저는 물놀이하는걸 어렸을 때부터 좋아했지만 수영은 아직도 할 줄 모른답니다ㅠ
하지만 스쿠버다이빙은 수영을 할 줄 몰라도 장비를 다루는 방법만 배우고 익힌다면 즐길 수 있다는 점이 매력적이었어요!

I was so afraid of water at my frist dive, but since I became more experienced and confident about scubadiving, it's really growing on me! Now I'm trying to get my best friends to try scubadiving because I believe that it could be anyone's lifelong hobby.

처음 다이빙 교육을 받을 때는 물이 너무 무서웠어요. 근데 점점 경험도 늘고 자신감이 조금씩 생기면서 다이빙에 완전 빠지게 된 것 같아요. 친한 친구들한테 추천하다보니 주변에 다이빙하는 사람들이 점점 많아지고 있는게 느껴져요!

You can start with "try scubadiving" first to find out if it is right for you and you can go for a scudiving course such as "Open Water Diver" which would be your first step to be a certified diver :)
