That is what you need to know about Sean Hannity!!!
Trying to understand the truth behind what Sean Hannity is saying can be like trying to understand all the ingredients in a bag of potato chips. Yeah, I see potatos, but what are all those other ingredients they throw in there? That's Sean Hannity. You can pick out some key ingredients, but it would serve you well to research what other artificial preservatives he's using to create his argument.
What he says is rarely the whole truth. He cherry picks. He might talk about an important news story but leave out some important details. Honestly, Hannity may not even know or understand all the details of what he's talking about. But he frames things in a way that makes the Right look good while making the Left look bad.
Many times he blames liberals for things that conservatives are just as guilty of —though Hannity would never admit to that.
Hannity is quick with his tongue and good at spouting off a lot of information in a short period of time…which makes him sound knowledgeable enough, but the critical listener needs to do their own research to fully understand the whole issue he's discussing. Here are some examples of things he has said on his radio show fairly recently:
Hillary Clinton should be in prison.
Hillary Clinton is very sick and may have serious health issues
President Barack Obama founded ISIS.
The election is rigged.
Millions of immigrants may have voted illegally.
The news media covers up terrorist attacks.
The fake news media is the enemy of the people
Obama spied on Trump.
He may not believe these stories, but he will push the hate and doubt so his side — the conservative side — will win. There is a problem with that. Truth, regardless of which side you're on, should be the deciding argument in a debate, not whether or not you're a liberal or conservative. However, he’s such a staunch conservative and a strict ideologue, that he has no interest in giving his listeners both sides of an issue. He will give you the conservative side and that's it. I've listened to his show enough to know that he's not interested in the truth. His main purpose is to defeat liberals.
There is always another side to a story. That's one of the problems with much of the American public today: they are only listening to one opinion. So, when Hannity speaks, he tends to incite a lot of negative emotion towards the Left. It fires up his base, but it goes way beyond the type of civil discourse our country should be having about how to solve important issues.
