From Seed To Fruit Update 5 - Apples

Johnny five is alive. We are now into our fifth update of Johnny Appleseed and friends. Its hard to believe that these thriving young plants were but mere seeds just a couple of months ago, and now they have roots and stems and green leaves. They are still at the very beginning of their growing phase, but its miraculous how far they've come in such a short space of time.

Day 11

Big Bro Johnny and little Sis Patty. Just Chilling.

Patty's first leaves are starting to stretch out to meet the sun.

Its only from the side view that you can really appreciate how much Patty has grown.

Day 14

Patty's has really come out of her shell. She's really starting to blossom.

Brighter day equates to better quality photos. Must remember that for future photos.

I'm catching up on you big Bro, we'll be the same size soon.

Day 17

From the ariel shot, they almost look the same size.

On the close up, you can see that Johnny is still the bigger of the two.

Go towards the light.

Is that a second set of leaves I see sprouting on Patty.

One day hopefully these little plants will produce fruit, and in turn those fruit will bear seeds, and those seeds when sowed, will grow into young seedlings, and the wonderful cycle of life will begin all over again.
