Your Low Self Esteem Isn't Real

I know... it feels intense. So intense that... we protect our conclusion.

We protect and validate our low self esteem with our lives.

"You're such a weirdo!" Tiffany laughs. (little do you know she's only teasing you because she has a small crush on you) But then you get hurt, "Of course, she thinks I'm a weirdo too. God, I must be so weird. Why did she say that.? Why is she so mean to me?" (Cries.)

And then Tiffany's small crush becomes a realization that you're definitely not secure enough for her.

SCENE:

You're at a party. Super uncomfortable. You're searching for reasons... "I just don't fit in." "Ah ha! that's it. I'm an outcast and I don't belong here, I'm just different." And then what?Sit in the corner alone and silent.

What We Imagine Finds Expression In Our Bodies

Once it finds expression in our bodies our Reticular Activation System kicks in to find any and all evidence fathomable to indemnify our imagined perception of ourselves and the world. Everything passes through this foggy filter that we programmed unwittingly.

There's so many things we can do to correct this but don't be fooled into thinking it's quick and easy.The truth is it will take just as many years to reverse what you have already done. But the good news is you can find growth and progress INSTANTLY. 

I'm just going to share one exercise with you now but...

Low self-Esteem VS High Self Esteem Exercise

On a piece of paper, NAME your low self esteem, example: My low self esteem is named Mr. Dweebs because no one likes a Dweeb and he's really lame. Now, bullet point EVERYTHING he does wrong, all of his negative qualities and how he feels, whats offends him, how he reacts to people etc. 

Next write a story that illustrates his life.Now, it's time to name your high self esteem, mine is Lion King and he is incredibly awesome. Again, bullet point his qualities, feelings and activities. then write a story that illustrates him. 

Doing this exercise will help you switch out your story for a new one but there's still much work to be done.

Take your Mr. Dweebs with you into the shower, WASH HIM AWAY! 

Visualize as deeply as possible. Just pretend for heavens sake. Pretend you see it!

When you get out of the shower dry off the rest of residue left behind. He's totally erased.

Now put your Lion King on. Using lotion, massage your High Self-Esteem into your body. Visualize once more. Feel yourself becoming this altered version of you, a newly released upgraded version.

You've only just begun your journey as a high self esteem person but this is one of the most powerful things you can do to take back your imagination and your self esteem.
