Alpha v Beta

People always confuse the words alpha male and nice guy. They think these are opposite terms. But are they?

I like a lot of other people thought an alpha male is a person who is not nice, rude and is inconsiderate about the feelings of the other people. I thought I could never be an alpha male as these things don't come naturally to me.

Then I decided that I was going to find out what being an alpha male actually meant. There were conflicting opinions online but the thing that was common among all the threads I read was that alpha male is someone who doesn’t take shit from anybody.

Now, before you start going out and about in the streets raging on anyone you see and trying to confront them, I would like to tell you that an alpha is someone who puts others at the same level as him but not above him. A nice person who is not an alpha, thinks too much because he cares too much about the opinions of the other people.

That is the difference between an alpha and a person who is not one. An alpha male is always confident and is assured about himself.

The common misconception is that alpha males are the assholes and this is far from the truth. The problem is that people these days, both men and women are too happy to let people take control. There is no problem with that if we don’t want to lead and be at the forefront of things but if we want to win and be successful it is imperative that we start acting like the leaders.

Winners and alpha take what comes and don’t wait for it to be handed. There are more too nice people out there than alphas and we all know what is in abundance has less value, so to add value and to be valuable we need to start being a little bit different and being a wolf not the sheep.
