Alternatives do cost more but thats still because it's niche and no commodity.... The waste becomes a bigger problem every day....
Governments need to tax wasteful industries to cover the real costs. We try to support things like refill shops and recycled products. We are well off enough to be able to do that, but people who can only afford discount products do not have that luxury.
I still hope to have solar panels some day. We may free up some money this year that could pay for it.
That's indeed true Steve, people with little money can't even afford less polluting products... It should be charged to people who can to relief the less earning...
