#8 The werewolf.

The transition period is the second most common place dreams come to die. Let me explain.

The biggest reason most people fail to realize their goals is fear. This fear of failure, hard work, or humiliation make doing nothing more attractive. Nothing ventured is nothing lost? Not really.

Everything has an opportunity cost, even doing nothing. We know how to manage fear, don't we? If you forgot, go back to my post #1 for a reminder.

After you have defined your goal, you will enter the transition period. This can be days, weeks or even years. Transition periods are transformative. You are actually changing from your physical state into one you created with your mind power. That is a special kind of magic all its own. Even in the movies when a man turns into a werewolf, he is in pain. He is writhing on the floor in agony until the transformation is complete.

Our changes will sometimes feel this dramatic. With practice, it will get easier. Everything gets easier with enough repetition.

The key is to trust the plan you made. Make sure you are hitting the benchmarks you defined. Ask someone with experience. You get to keep the achievement even if you had help. Don't give up, complain or blame anyone. This will only sap energy out of you and delay your success. Talk to you soon,
