How financial education changed my life.

in #self8 years ago

I was always happy about my life. I had a job, a beautiful and awesome girlfriend and a family most people would wish.
But every time money was a theme nobody talks about. No wonder.. In the middle class, talking about money is already a great taboo. Not because they don't have any money. Rather because money is and it will be a unpleasant theme, nobody likes to talk about it. Of course not everybody has these negative attitude about money but if we are honestly, than we all know these sayings: "Money don't make you happy". "Money is not so important". "Go to school, write god marks and get a job". Until recently i don't know how much these stupid sayings affect myself and my life.

So i ask myself, if money is not so important, why we work our hole life to get it? If money don't make us happy, why the poor are not the happiest people on earth? Why we want a bigger paycheck and more on our bank account?
If its so important to get a job, why i see nobody with a smile on his face when they go to work in the morning? Sure, there is nothing bad to have a job if you are happy with it. But honestly, most of the people who use these sayings are not satisfied with their place in life. At least i don't think so. In the last year i've read a lot of books about financial education which helped me to reset my way of thinking. So i would like to share this knowledge with the community and make some book recommendations, to help other people make the same or better personal development process just as i did.

One of the best books i've ever read is Rich Dad Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki
In this bestseller he declare what the rich teach their kids about money that the poor and middle-class do not.
A great book for everyone who want to learn the key principles about money and how it works.

Don't be scared by the striking title. This book shows 17 ways of thinking how rich people think and how poor people think.
I was shockt how many of this poor thinking ways i have in my mindset and how they damaged my life.
A great eyes opening book i can recommend.

The-One-Thing-Gary-Keller.jpg

The One Thing is not a book about money. In this book, the author's depicts how you can create extraordinary results and let you have a deep insight on the things, which are really important to focus on.

All this books helped me to change the way of thinking and after one year i can register a lot of positive changes in my life.
So the minimum of what i can do, is to share and recommend these books with other people around the world who are searching for motivation and changes in their life. If i can help just one person with this article, than i've achieved my goal.
