Self-Acceptance
Self-acceptance is vital for emotional well-being, encompassing body acceptance, self-protection, and belief in one’s capacities. Shamans and indigenous cultures value self-compassion and interconnectedness with nature and community, fostering a sense of belonging. Eastern cultures prioritize group harmony, emphasizing unity and shared identity, which also embraces self-acceptance.
On a personal level, there were many days, with unhappy scenes, in which I made the decision to not exist. I didn't like who I was. I didn't like who I had become. I didn't like the body I was given. I didn't like the person I was, my name, my age, my brain. I couldn't live life. I had no life worth living. Until I could find self-acceptance, there was to be no change, no hsppiness.
Struggling with self-acceptance is a common battle. Remember, you are loved, important, and your story matters. Don't give up; the miracle is yet to unfold.
Peace & love to all
