Both in people who are not aware of their mental power and in those who begin to be and perform training for their personal development, it is common to fall into self-critical thoughts that slow progress.

Although obviously analyzing our behavior is positive to assess the point at which we are, often this analysis is done from a perspective of negativity that is the obstacle to progress.

Therefore, although self-criticism can be carried out to improve, it should never be done by focusing on the aspects that displease us, because this tendency will continue to manifest itself even though circumstances or results may change.

You can not be in harmony and personal balance, while you judge or criticize severely. Many times people do so with the best intention, because they have a fervent desire to improve their current conditions and observe that they have not yet achieved their goals by becoming frustrated and punished for it, by being aware of everything they can achieve and not yet enjoy But whatever the reason, the only thing that matters is that they continue to harbor a current of energy inside them that takes them away from their well-being and consequently from their purposes.

It is very important to pacify the thoughts you hold about your own person and be more loving. The point where you now find yourself is that which your desires and experience of life have propitiated and you should know that gradually and naturally you will be approaching new scenarios, so do not blame yourself or be angry if you are not yet at the level of progress you want, because this will be a natural process as long as you remain installed in your personal balance.

One of the best ways to appease the feeling of excessive self-criticism in which many people are permanently installed, is to focus our attention on the progress of our goals that we have made by small that may seem and observe all those things that we have to to thank. This automatically elevates our perspective above all the things that we judge are not yet in our experience.

Continued criticism, either your own or to third parties, is never a good travel companion and is one of the biggest barriers in your personal development, because those who practice it usually stick to it easily, being a habit that easily becomes entrenched and that will result complicated to free yourself.

Remember that your point of observation and feeling shows you what is growing in your life and if in a common way you are focusing on lacks or faults that will be what is prolonged, even if your desire and intention is to get away from them.

In the usual way you will find that people who have this habit of continuous criticism, hardly find happiness in their lives, because their focus of observation always has the tendency to deviate towards what they dislike.

Improving this aspect of dealing with ourselves also empowers us to observe others without criticizing them. We must be tolerant, since only through experiences can we evolve and it is inevitable that these entail what we consider "errors".
