Consume And Thou Shalt Be Happy

Consume And Thou Shalt Be Happy.png

I don't care much for luxury

It's nice, but it doesn't get me anywhere in life. It's just a quality of instant experience. It's transient.

I realised a long time ago that there is something much more important. Something that goes deeper and that enhances the quality of life from the root.

You can invest your money in luxury items, car, travel, TV, mobile phone & co. And hence increase your experience on the outside.

By outside I mean everything that's outside of your body what you can perceive.

That's one way.

But there is another thing that is much more substantial and far more profound.

What if you don't change what you perceive externally, but change what the outside perceives right now?

If there is something that is noticed, then there must always be something that is perceiving.

And in this case, that's you.

At any moment you carry around your imprints from your most recent life. You are the filter with which you see this world.

Do you see the world and your life negative, then your past must be negative and you have not worked it up yet.

The first thought of many is that they still need this and that to be happy.

And that is the biggest misconception that has fooled us in this consumer society. Buy, and you will be happy.

Have you ever noticed that all the things you see on the billboards are transient?

They are all just consumer products. A concert, a yoghurt and again a new smartphone.

What would happen when you make peace with your past and don't have to cover your pain anymore?

If you heal old wounds and need nothing more from the outside?

When you gain new insights about yourself and your life that make you understand this world?

When you break out of old patterns and outgrow yourself?

Then what?

Will you agree with me that your whole experience of the, still, same world changes fundamentally?

You stay in the same life situation, but you perceive it completely differently.

Because you have changed ...

Do you care for your inner knowledge and thus increase your awareness, this is always associated with an increased quality of life.

You no longer see things so negatively, but now recognise the happiness and joy that have always been there.

You experience this world, depending on which filters are active with you. The way is to recognise these filters and dissolve them.

Realize the happiness that is there now.

Recognize yourself!

That's a change that will accompany you throughout your life and never leave you again. Ever!

So the most important investment is investing in yourself. In your inner growth. In your wisdom. In your awareness. And in your healing.

Partly also in your knowledge, but only if the knowledge also leads to true life experience and it's not consuming.

I leave it up to you to decide which way to choose. Consumption or real inner growth and unfolding.

It is your decision whether you consume things or realise yourself. Seconds are ticking away.

Make this decision wisely and in the name of the truth that you find in your heart.

The most important investment in yourself,

with your consciousness through spiritual development,

your body through healthy eating and

your feelings through time for yourself.

How can you do good for yourself on these three levels?

That's a very important question for you if you want to go the path of self-realisation.

I hope I stirred your mind a little bit with this post.
