To improve our sales and be the best we must work on building trust with our client from the first moment we establish contact and to do so we can apply the following tips:

First of all we must prepare ourselves, this means that we must investigate our client, we must find out their context, their needs and possible interests, this shows us that we have taken the necessary time to get to know our client, this is not enough, we must also know our products or services, in this way we will have the clear and precise answer according to everything investigated and in this way they will see us as an expert in the sector.

Let us always remember that the first impression is the one that impacts, since it is marked, that is why we must dress and show an impression of professionalism and confidence with our appearance, we must not forget to smile and show kindness and warmth in the treatment, this will open great doors of trust with our client.

It is necessary that while we are with them we learn to listen more than we speak, first is to listen and then is to speak. We must learn to ask good questions so that we can discover their needs in greater depth and pay attention to what they answer. We must avoid interrupting the conversation. This shows that we value our clients and care about their situation. At the same time that we are talking, we must pay close attention to doing so with a firm, confident voice without going overboard and becoming aggressive. We must express our points of view clearly and simply without using complex and difficult-to-understand terms, adjusting to the client's level.

It is imperative to offer value. During this first contact, we can offer useful information or some type of quick solution to add value to the product or service we are offering. If we cannot do something, we must say so. Clients value the need much more than any empty promise. This must be accompanied by deadlines and costs so as not to have surprises in the future.

And as a final tip, it is important to follow up immediately. At the end of the conversation, we should send them an email thanking them first for the time they have dedicated to us and reinforce the positive points we have discussed. Here we can also include additional material that supports our professionalism.
