My first photo:
The Obelisk of Buenos Aires
The Obelisk of Buenos Aires a very emblematic place of the city of Buenos Aires Here is a brief description of the site (taken from wikipedia)
Is a historical monument considered an icon of the city of Buenos Aires, built in 1936 to mark the fourth centenary of the so-called first foundation of the city by Pedro de Mendoza. It is located in the Plaza de la República, at the intersection of Corrientes and 9 de Julio avenues, in the neighborhood of San Nicolás in the City of Buenos Aires. The work is authored by the Argentine architect Alberto Prebisch, the construction was in charge of the German consortium G.E.O.P.E. - Siemens Bauunion - Grün & Bilfinger.
