Sex and health
Our sex life is rather complicated and ambiguous. We have sex for various reasons. Because we want to have children. Because that's how we want to express our love. Because we just want to have some fun. Because there are no interesting programs on TV. But not always everything turns out as we would like and as we planned it or assumed.
Our sexual culture is rich not only with love and passion, but it also has a place for damaged condoms, sexually transmitted diseases, infertility and erectile dysfunction. The problems associated with our genitals are complex and personal, so it is not always easy for us to discuss these problems.
Meanwhile, sex is one of the most important ways to promote health, as well as maintaining physical fitness and peace of mind.
According to American statistics, at the age of 18 - 29 years, people have sex on average 112 times a year. Later this frequency decreases to 86 times a year among 30 - 39-year-olds; 67 times a year among those who are 40 - 49 years and 58 times a year for 50 - 59-year-olds.
At 20-30 minutes of sexual intercourse about 300 calories burn in the body, this is the equivalent of a five-kilometer run. However, with the duration of sexual intercourse from 2 to 6 minutes, only twenty-five calories burn out (jogging is less than half a kilometer).
If you can not go up without stopping and go down two flights of stairs, this is a sign that you have problems that are likely to affect your sex life.
All these problems need a frank and full discussion in order to prevent serious health problems - physical and mental.
