Yes, there is a difference between Desire and Joy, but it is not a sin to Love the same sex and to express it. It is ok to have both.
It is when you forgo the Lord and God and place these things over him when it become unhealthy and sinful. Both homosexual and straight people can be guilty of this.
Time for the Masses to EVOLVE. This will be the way of the New Kingdom

The old law that was biblically once stated was a safeguard against underpopulation. Population stabilization in a short-lived people, cannot be assured if homosexuality is practiced.
Today, we have a stable, if not somewhat overpopulated planet, so the safeguard is no longer necessary.
The rules have reasons, but as situations change, so do rules.
They were never condemned by God based on sexual preference. It was the act that man suppressed so that they could raise population in that time.
God does not judge any of you based on your sexual preference.
NO GUILT ...NO SHAME but remember make sure it is RESPONSIBLE AND CONSENSUAL! Each to his own , nothing forced or judged upon ones " preference and pleasure" , so long as God, his Son and his way are first.

People who want to feel justified persecuting others will always look for something to justify their actions... Love is Love. Whether it is two guys, two girls, or a one guy and one girl... love is good as long as it is not detrimental, it is responsible and consentual.
