Steem Fantasy Premier League - Gameweek 14 Review and Match Prediction Game!

in #sfpl7 years ago

This match week is one of the more interesting. Not because of the games, but because of the rotation the managers have to do if they want to play with a fit squad. Not only do the managers have to think about this weeks game, but they also have to think about the coming match week. It's two games in five days, so rotation is a must. Especially for teams like Arsenal and Manchester United who will meet Saturday. Arsenal has an easy home game against Huddersfield compared to United away at Watford. But let's focus on this week's games. I will say before you start reading if you actually do read, that take precautions with my advice, especially this match week as I have no clue how they will line up.

Watford - Manchester United

This match is interesting. Manchester barely won against Brighton, plus Manchester is playing Arsenal next week. Therefore I have no idea how they will line up. I think they are most likely not to rest anybody, maybe a few. Mostly because the depth of their squad is not the greatest. Jones is still out, as well with Bailly, therefore they are forced to use Lindelöf who has proved absolutely nothing. At the same time as United are having problems with a few injuries, Watford is playing really well. They come from two victories, with two clean sheets. Richarlinson is still looking great, and can due to damage to a weaker United defense than usual. Especially if Rojo AND Lindelöf will play, then I simply don't see United keeping a clean sheet unless De Gea is having one his best nights. I would not recommend buying any player form any of these teams, as I think it will be a low scoring game. Also, the game is hard to predict. I am not just saying this because I am an Arsenal fan, but I don't think United will win. My bet is on 1-1.

Missing or doubtful players: Carrick, Mkhitaryan, Shaw, Jones, Bailly (United) and Hoban, Cathcart, Chalobah, Success, Kaboul, Britos (Watford)

Chelsea - Swansea

Let's start off with some stats. Swansea had lost five games in a row before drawing 0-0 against Bournemouth. Swansea has scored 7 goals so far this season, with 4 of them coming from T. Abraham. As T.Abraham is on a loan spell from Chelsea, he is not allowed to play. Therefore, the man who has scored more than 50 % of their goals are out. So, if you do have or thinking about buying Chelsea defense, do it. They have easy games coming up, and I can't see how they won't do a clean sheet in this match. They are most likely to do some rotations as well, therefore Luiz and Moses might play in the defense. Hazard could be given some rest, with Pedro or Willian starting. Some doubt that maybe Morata will be given rest, but I can't see how that would happen as their reserve striker, Batshuayi is injured. I expect an easy win from Chelsea with a clean sheet. Something like 3, or 4-0. Therefore I have Alonso as my captain. He is extremely offensive, and if Hazard is given rest, he will be the one taking the free kicks. Morata, if he plays, would also be a great choice of captain. If you have any Swansea players, sell. Sell it all. Get out!

Missing or doubtful players: Batshuayi, Moses (Chelsea) and Bartley, Abraham, Fernandez (Swansea)

Arsenal - Huddersfield

After Arsenals amazing win against Spurs, they did what Arsenal always do. Played shit the game after, but they still managed to get a cheap penalty which Sanchez converted. Arsenal has been amazing at home this season winning all games. This game should extend that streak. Still, Wenger has to have next weekend in mind as they play United. I expect a fair amount of changes to the game against Huddersfield. There are a few players I expect to play who also played against Burnley, and that includes Cech, Monreal, Mustafi, Kolasniac, Bellerin and Sanchez. Ramsey, Xhaka and Lacazette might be given rest. Welbeck could get a start here, just like Giroud could be the man on top. I really hope Wilshere will start, but I have my doubts. He is in play for a start, but it's still unlikely he will play from start. Same goes for Huddersfield. It was a very draining match for them, physically and mentally. Being in front and lose within the last five minutes. They probably also have to make some changes to the team, unless it will be a very tough game for them the last 30 minutes. I expect Arsenal to keep a clean sheet and win by two or three goals. It would be the perfect preview for the United game. Let's see.

Missing or doubtful players: Cazorla, Özil, Walcott (Arsenal), Stankovic, Hefele, Billing, La Parra, Palmer (Huddersfield)

I'm hoping Gray score some points. :P

16 points during the last three games... Yeah, he looks good. Better than Lukaku for sure... But even with Lindelof and Rojo, he would still have Valencia to overcome :)
