Steem Fantasy Premier League - Gameweek 5 Review and Match Prediction Game

in #sfpl7 years ago

The Champions League and Europa League has started, and almost all the English teams got off to a great start. Chelsea manages to win 6-0, while Man Utd secured a 3-0 win against Basel. Both Chelsea and Manchester United don't have easy games this match week as they play Arsenal and Everton. Machester City completely destroyed Feyenoord 0-4, while Liverpool didn't manage to get three points against Sevilla. Arsenal won 3-1 against Köln after being behind. Everton disappointed and lost 3-0 to Atalanta. Ladies and Gentlemen, we are in for another Premier League Matchweek.

Watford - MAnchester City

I think this is one of the most interesting games this match week. Watford is still unbeaten and Manchester City is flying. Watford managed to secure a draw when Liverpool visited Vicarage Road. I don't think they can do that again against Guardiola's men. But do have in mind that City played a midweek game, while Watford rested and prepared for this game. I still expect City to win though. Especially with Watford missing a few players from last game, I could easily see City bag a 0-3 victory.

Predicted Lineup (Watford): Gomes, Janmaat, Mariappa, Kabasele, Holebas, Doucouré, Chabolah, Carillo, Cleverley, Richarlison and Gray

Missing Players: Hoban, Zarate, Pereyra (injuries), Britos (suspended), Kaboul, Cathcart, DjéDjé, Prödl, Fermenia (doubts)

Predicted Lineup (Manchester City): Ederson, Stones, Otamendi, Danilo, Walker, Mendy, Silva, Fernandinho, Bruyne, Agüero and Jesus.

Missing Players: Kompany (injured) and Gündogan (doubtful)

Note! It's always hard to predict a lineup after a midweek game so we might see some changes. Sterling might play from start as well as Sane, and Mangala.

Tottenham - Swansea

Tottenham has won 10 of the latest 11 matches against the Swans, and with more than 2,5 goals being scored in the last seven games against Swansea, I predict an entertaining match. Harry Kane scored twice in the last two matches, so let's just predict he will do the same here. Even though Tottenham won against Dortmund, they didn't seem that good. If it wasn't for Burki and a bad ref, it might have ended in a draw. Tottenham is not used to play at Wembley yet, and with the pitch being a lot bigger than White Hart Lane, we might see Spurs having some trouble against Swansea. The trouble though, shouldn't be enough for them to not bag all three points. I predict Tottenham to win by at least two goals.

Predicted Lineup (Spurs): Lloris, Alderweireld, Sánchez, Vertonghen, Aurier, Dier, Dembélé, Davies, Alli, Eriksen and Kane.

Missing Players: Lamela, Rose, Nkoudou, Wanyama (injured)

Predicted Lineup (Swansea): Fabianski, Naughton, Mawson, Fernández, Olsson, Sanches, Clucas, Carroll, Fer, Ayew and Abraham.

Note! It's always hard to predict a lineup after a midweek game. The depth of Tottenham is not that great at the moment, so we might only see one or two changes, maximum.

Chelsea - Arsenal

Game of the week. No doubt. Chelsea looks on fire like last season. Hazard is back, Morata is scoring goals, Kanté is still running a marathon every game, and Arsenal still looks like Arsenal. Playing with no concept, no motivation, Sanchez is still not fully fit, and the defense is maybe worse than ever. If Arsenal loses, a top four will no doubt be the goal of the season, but a win would turn things around. I predict a match with Chelsea dominating and probably winning the game even though Arsenal won against Chelsea earlier this year, Chelsea is simply too good for Arsenal at the moment. Chelsea has also won the last five matches against Arsenal at Stamford Bridge. We might see six in a row on Sunday.

Predicted Lineup (Chelsea): Courtois, Azpilicueta, Luiz, Rudiger, Moses, Alonso, Kanté, Babayoko, Fabregas, Hazard and Morata.

Missing Players: Drinkwater (injury)

Predicte Lineup (Arsenal): Mustafi, Koscielny, Monreal, Kolasniac, Bellerin, Xhaka, Ramsey, Sanchez, Özil and Lacazette.

Missing Players: Cazorla, Coquelin and Chambers (injured)

Note! Sanchez played 90 minutes against Köln and might not be played from start. We might see Welbeck get another start. Also, it's uncertain whether Hazard will play from start.
