Steem Fantasy Premier League - Gameweek 7 Preview and Match Prediction Game

in #sfpl7 years ago (edited)

A Premier League match between title contenders Chelsea and Manchester City is by far this weeks event. But we should not forget that Manchester United is, as I write this, getting ready to complete destroy Crystal Palace, who are yet to score in this campaign. That might be a great game to watch as well. I expect many goals at Old Trafford. Liverpool is going to Newcastle to see if they still got massive holes in their defense. Ladies and gentlemen! We are reviewing game week 7, which will be the last before the international break. Let's go!

Manchester United - Crystal Palace

I haven't been sleeping lately as I can't figure out if I should buy Lukaku for this match week. Crystal Palace is by far the worst team so far, and Manchester United is amongst everybody considered title contenders. Crystal Palace latest lost 5-0 to City even though they managed to keep City from scoring in 44 minutes. At the same time, that means they conceded 5 goals in 46 minutes. My point is I think United will win, and it won't be a 1-0, or 2-0. I think we are talking about another disaster for Palace. Lukaku will probably be the most picked captain this match week, but I will take the risk and not buy him. Mkhitaryan, Martial (if he plays), and De Gea look like players who could earn a decent amount of points. United have kept a clean sheet in 7 out of the latest 8 matches in Premier League, therefore, any United defender is looking to score at least six points. I simply don't see Palace score in this game, but it surely is possible they will only lose 2-0.

Predicted Lineup (United): De Gea, Valencia, Bailly, Smalling, Young, Matic, Herrera, Rashford, Mata, Mkhitaryan and Lukaku

Missing Players: Fellaini, Zlatan, Pogba, Rojo, Carrick (injured), Martial and Jones (doubts)

Predicted Lineup (Palace): Hennessey, Ward, Dann, Sakho, Aanholdt, Milijovecic, Cabaye, Townsend, Roftus-Cheek, Schlupp and Sakho

Missing Players: Wickham, Zaha, Benteke, (injured)

My Prediction: 3-0

Chelsea - Manchester City

We have been granted with a lot of really great matches in this beginning of the season. This might be the best so far. Both teams are definitely in form, in the Premier League as well as in Champions League. I will almost guarantee you that this match won't end 0-0. It's more likely that it will end 3-3, rather than 0-0. Agüero looks on fire, but unfortunately, he was involved in an accident in Amsterdam after a concert and might be out two months. We still don't know though. He might feature. Chelsea though has to play with Andreas Christensen, whom Premier League experience is limited. Except missing Luiz, Chelsea is in their strongest eleven as Hazard is expected to start. Even though Hazard is back I think Chelsea will suffer from having to play Andreas Christensen. At the same time Chelsea is looking very strong at the moment, and Conte managed to get points in both encounters against Guardiola last season. I think he will again. I am putting my money on a draw. Something that can be accepted by both teams.

Predicted Lineup (Chelsea): Courtois, Cahill, Christensen, Azpilicueta, Alonso, Moses, Kanté, Babayoko, Hazard, Willian and Morata

Missing Players: Luiz (suspended) and Drinkwater (injured)

Predicted Lineup (City): Ederson, Walker, Stones, Otamendi, Danilo, Bruyne, Fernandinho, D. Silva, Sterling, Sane and Jesus. .

Missing Players: Agüero (doubt), Mendy and Kompany

My Prediction: 2-2

Huddersfield - Tottenham

Tottenham has already dropped 7 points at home, but away they seem to thrive a lot more. Harry Kane is finally scoring goals, and now he is scoring a lot! If you're in doubt who to pick for your fantasy team from Tottenham, it's him. Harry Kane, Alli and Eriksen seem like the players to have on your team. In this match, you might also benefit from having Trippier and Davies, as they are both fairly cheap, and will play. Huddersfield has had problems scoring goals, and therefore I expect a Tottenham clean sheet. With Mounie doubtful they will have an even harder time getting the ball past Lloris. With Aurier suspended Trippier will play and you can buy him for a decent price. While there have been under 2,5 goals in Huddersfield last five matches, Tottenham has scored at least two goals. I expect a win for Tottenham including a clean sheet.

Predicted Lineup (Huddersfield): Lössl, Smith, Löwe, Zanka, Schindler, Billing Mooy, Ince, Sabiri, Kachunga and Depoitre

Missing Players: Stankovic, Palmer, Williams, Quaner (injured) and Mounie (doubt)

Predicted Lineup (Tottenham): Lloris, Alderweireld, Sanchez, Verthongen, Trippier, Davies, Sissoko, Dier, Eriksen, Alli and Kane

Missing Players: Lamela, Rose, Wanyama, Dembélé (injured) and Aurier (suspended)

My Prediction: 0-3

Cool @acidyo .. Game Week 7.

Thanks, edited.

I think someone needs to reply to all the comments before the predictions are closed. I say this because a comment with no reply can be edited by the owner. I believe you must have that covered already but if not, please make it happen. I can volunteer for the service each week for a small favor from you; may be upvotes on my replies.

EDIT:- I think it is my first #steemgig.

I usually do that, but I noticed that if you edit your comment it jumps up highest on my "reply" list. So I'm keeping a close eye on it and disqualifying users that do so.

That's great. I did believe that you must have it covered already. I said that in the comment as well. I just wanted to say what I had to say because it's a huge game that you are organizing so wonderfully. Thanks for the reply.

The prize is really high I'm going to cry in my corner and reavulate my decisions in this life . Why the F I quit Fantasy League !

My first 5 weeks were a disaster. None of the captains performed except in the last one. Points have always been less than weekly average. I didn't quit and last week was a good return. Hopefully, I'll continue recovery.

You're still in, a lot can change in 32 gameweeks :D

Oy! Do a twitch stream where you run through your team. How you're thinking when selecting the players. What the different things like "double captain" etc do and how often you can use them and when you should, as well as when you can buy new players and when it is smart to have extra money.

Then maybe someone will actually come and watch for a change ! ;P

happens brooo lol

I love you and love your publications I want to be like you and I would be grateful that if you support me, I love you, O Great
