Seeing the pieces you pour get a good home

in #silver7 years ago

One of the best parts of pouring is knowing that someone really enjoys and appreciates the work you put into a piece. As many of the pieces I make are custom orders, we get to help create a truly personal gift. All of our commissioned pieces come with a private personal video of the pour and we add music etc for it to be truly unique. Recently I sold a cannon I had made on Reddit Silverbugs and it's forever home is AWESOME!! Reddit User Doofer Dave has an amazing silver shelf as he calls it, most of the pieces are by fellow Reddit Silverbugs and I feel very proud to be in such great company. Here is a pic he shared of it,

Not only is the shelf really cool but now I think myself and many others have a new goal! Happy Stacking!

It is a good feel to one of your pieces went to a good home. Nice post👍🏻

I finally made time to open up your package Dixie, my life is insanely busy with less than 4 hours sleep since yesterday, Wow this beautiful 'Celestial' bar suggests to me "Spirituality" Sun, Moon, Stars have been symbols representing the heavens in a plethora of different faiths. I can now see clearly the toning that separates the light and the dark too. Now to pick the music, and the appropriate poetry.

so excited,We can't wait to see what you come up with, your videos are so creative and fun to watch! And yes sometimes life is too busy, lol hang in there!

What a beautiful and worthwhile hobby and craft, you're a true artisan!

Thank you! and yes this is the best hobby i have ever tried!

Nice poured pieces. Keep pouring my friend.

My husband did a little silver pouring when we were young, he enjoyed it, appealed to his inner dwarf lol!

Pouring is a lot of fun!

what caliber is it?

10 mm, and a lot of fun to shoot

nice! My brother's wife won't allow him to have a gun in the house so I bought him a similar one, not silver, it's a lot fun. How much is one of those?

Depending on style(pirate, civil war or modern etc), accessories and choices of metal about $250 and up the cannon runs 5 - 6 oz of 925

I've wanted to buy a little silver, now that I know that it is available in cannon form I am seriously intrigued!

We love to make silver you can play with! We have done fidget spinners, brain teaser puzzles and now working on a smoking tray, it is so much fun to make a piece that really means something to the one who holds it. We like to say silver can be personal like a tattoo but less painful! Just be warned once you start it is addicting lol

do you accept STEEM?

We are just getting this figuring this out and are completely new to cryptos but yes I will take steem and in that situation the cannon would start at $300

While I’m not active in the silver community here you really should search them out and use there tags. I’m sure they would love to see this kind of thing!

Just using 2 out of your 5 makes this bit hard to be seen at all.

I don’t know much about silver pouring myself but I imagine there a large group here that enjoy that kind of thing and the seeing different things you have collected over the years.

I have seen one of my followers use the tag #steemsilvergold I’m not exactly sure what are requirements to be using their tag.

That is a very interesting cannon.

Thank you for the kind words and tips, still trying to figure it all out there is a big learning curve, lol

ive always wanted to try silver pouring, but it doesnt seem like something youd try just once, for fun. i love your pieces of art work. just amazing!

Thank you and yes once you do it your hooked! it is so much fun!! my whole family gets involved!

I meant more along the lines of it being too expensive to try once, but i can see how it would be addicting too! i need to find a local friend to let me try it out :)
