Single Mothers

in #single7 years ago

We all have a job to do as mothers and that load seems to be heavier if you are a single mother. I was always told that it's momma's baby and daddies maybe a lot growing up and I never seemed to understand why. I was 19yrs. old when I had my son and the meaning became very clear to me. My son will be 1years old soon and he has only seen his dad 5times since he was born. I used to argue everyday with his father and tell him that I hated him. Screaming and yelling all the time did nothing. So you know after a while of yelling and telling him he was a dead beat father I gave up and bossed up and I couldn't be any happier. We as women have to realise that no matter if the man is there or not we still have to do our job...raising a child isn't all fun and games. Indeed its hard. Yes there are days we feel like we just might break. It happens but when you look your son/daughter in the face remember all those smiles you recieved remember all the love that they have for you and push on. I am a proud mother and you should be too. Keep your heads held high because you dont want that crown to fall for you are a queen and will always be.

Thank you for reading.
