#ulog: Healthy skin is so in
Hi Steemers! Most of us wants to have a healthy and beautiful skin, some don’t care what happens to their skin and some are too young to care. 😁 Teenagers tend to have more skin problems than adults because of puberty. The most common problems are pimples and body odor. That’s just so uncomfortable.
In college, i was obsessed with beauty products because i want to get rid of my pimples. I save my allowance so that i can afford to buy expensive beauty products at the mall. I used to think that expensive means effective. But i was wrong. It didn’t do anything to my pimple or to my dream of having a clear and flawless skin. I tried so many products, both inexpensive and expensive because of my desperation. When i already had a job, I use most of the money i earn to buy skin whitening capsules then i switched to using injectables. Finally, I’ve achieved that flawless skin that i wanted. 👌🏻
It’s a little bit pricey and it’s hard to maintain so i switched to kojic acid soap. It’s very effective and very cheap. You could get 2 soaps for only 50 pesos. The result is even better than glutathione injectables. Maybe it depends on the brand.
Here’s the thing, motherhood changed my whole skin care routine. With God’s help and mercy, suddenly i didn’t care about my skin that much. Or even on how i look. Sometimes, i go out without brushing my hair. When my breastfeeding journey started, i looked up in the internet some beauty products i’m allowed to use. I found out that even in breastfeeding, there are still products which you cannot use for it may affect the quality of the milk you are producing. If you are a breastfeeding mom, you can visit http://www.e-lactancia.com/ to check if you are using or taking the right thing. So i started trying natural and organic stuff that can be found at the market or malls. And also, someone that i truly love said that we must discontinue using products with lots of chemicals in it to protect our body from getting toxins and certain illnesses you can get from those chemicals.
Now, i’m only using calamansi on my skin and some baby products for moisturization. I’m not getting that dramatic white effect on my skin but i’m happy and content with my healthy and supple skin. Thanks be to God! 💕 ‘til my next blog! ☺️

Great post @mrsjaffa24. Keep it up.
May I ask how you use calamansi for your skin?
I'm interested because my mom also used it when she was in college but she stopped when her classmate applied calamansi on her face and it gave her classmate mild burns, as in namula ang mukha at parang na sunburn pagkatapos ng pamumula . o.O
