Skycoin will shine in 2018 and here is why
On May 24, 2018, Skycoin trading was formally launched on Binance. The exchange has already launched three trading pairs: SKY/BNB, SKY/ETH, and SKY/BTC.
Today the Skycoin team announced that Skycoin has entered a strategic partnership with Binance which will enable the Skycoin ecosystem applications to support the use of BNB, the Binance platform token. https://www.skycoin.net/blog/statement/skycoin-and-binance-strategic-cooperation-agreement/
BNB is a token of the Binance exchange, as a core part of the ecological layout of Binance. The cooperation with Skycoin adds new applications for the BNB ecosystem.
As the top digital currency trading platform, Binance will provide Skycoin with a greater market exposure so that more people can join the Skycoin ecosystem and at the same time encourage further development of this leading technology in the industry.
Skycoin is a platform and is working on other projects that are live or under development:
Live: A game developed on Skycoin’s Fiber blockchain platform called KittyCash (http://www.kittycash.com/home) will accept BNB as a form of payment. Within KittyCash you can own unique kitties and complete game transactions on the Skycoin blockchain.
Live: Samos (www.samos.io), one of the ecological projects on Skycoin, will adopt BNB as payment system. Samos utilizes CXO, a storage technology developed by Skycoin. Samos aims to build an AI-driven network to provide a cross-platform and cross-ecosystem foundational service. BNB users can directly purchase and enjoy private encrypted storage services through Samos’s Pay Gateway.
Under development: Skycoin has an universal coin API under development on github: https://github.com/skycoin/services/tree/master/coin-api and this API will allow it to support an infinite amount of coins. Transaction fees will be paid in coinhours you can collect in your skycoin wallet by having skycoins in it.

Skycoin is a project established over the past 7 years, founded by one of the early bitcoin contributors, and is based on the latest blockchain technology.
