Steemit Learning Challenge S22 W2: Keeping fit / Cardiovascular exercises
Design by me, edited on canva.
I'm not a fitness enthusiast but I exercised everyday to keep fit and stay agile to carry out my everyday duties effectively without feeling unnecessary pains or discomfort. Staying fit and keeping fit has grown to become my daily lifestyle and it makes life reasonable.
Cardiovascular exercise as the week lecture begins with is actually a perfect way to start exercise as it gets us prepared for any exercise, for instance it boost our strength, accurate our heart rate and strengthen our lung, in all it improves our overall well-being.
Cardio workout or exercise is the type of exercise every athlete execute first before the resumption of the main program; this type of exercise includes running, jogging, the list continues. Without excess explanation, I anticipate the lecture according to the rules that govern the class. First I start by checking my pulse and breath rate on Monday and the results I found is below.
Vital signs | worth |
---|---|
Pulse. | Before = 62. After = 69 |
Breathe | Before = 15. After = 26. |
After revealing my pulse rate and breath, I took to executing the three exercises as instructed. I'm not newbie when it comes to exercise so I executed three sets of each programs. Wednesday was the second day of anticipating the lecture and I repeated the same measure I used on to measure my pulse and breath rate on Monday before resuming the programs. I started with the:
STATIONARY TROT |
---|
Stationary trot, as the name implied is a type of exercise that involves jogging in place, lifting up the knee around angle 90 degree, that levels your knee around or close to the waist region. While taking this program, I tried my possible best to execute three sets of 30 seconds interval, each with a ten seconds for relaxation as instructed despite the tender pains in my thigh.
Having a ten seconds rest helps in exhaling in and out airs which in return, boosts amd sustain energy. Watch out my video presentation for this program below.
JUMPING JACK. |
---|
Here is another cardiovascular exercise that attack the full body region, for instance; it tackles the Upper body, the lower body and the core strength as well. With endurance, I was fitted to execute three sets of twenty repetitions, each with a ten seconds rest interval.
To execute this program, one need to exercise endurance because it requires our core strength, one need to jump up a little bit above the floor surface, stretch the legs wide apart while swinging the arms up and down in rhythmic with the legs. Watch out my video presentation below.
IMAGINARY ROPE SKIPPING |
---|
I progress to the last program of my choice which happen to be the imaginary rope skipping. This type of program is similar to stationary trot as it involves jumping a little bit above the floor surface, stretch or spread the arms wide apart as if skipping without a rope.
While progressing, the heart rate increase, the pulse rate increases too. I executed thirty repetitions in three sets, endurance was needed to execute this exercise because it's exhausting, the ten seconds rest was was essential because it was used to exclaim energy while relaxing. Watch out my video presentation for this program.
Immediately after the complete exercise, I check my pulse and breath rate, then I noticed some swift changes, my pulse rate increase from 62 BPM as i check before the exercise to 73 BPM immediately after the exercise, my breath rate also increases from 14 BPM to 28 BPM, i believe the results after the exercise is a result of a strenuous exercise. For easy understanding, I present it below.
Vital signs | worth |
---|---|
Pulse. | Before = 62. After = 73 |
Breathe | Before = 14. After = 28. |
In your own words, tell us about your experience and how you felt doing the exercises on both days. |
---|
Well, the feelings wasn't strange from what it always is, I'm used to these exercises to be honest so the pains i experienced was tender. The tender pains I experienced was because I protrude the number of sets to three, jumping Jack is a fun exercise and i love doing it whenever i am chance. I would say that the first day which was Monday was great and the second day which was Wednesday was extremely great.
Of course, sweat is what determines the depth of exercise and it always comes out as toxins, the unwanted substance in our system.
In conclusion, exercise is a daily routine we do to keep fit and healthy, it's actually a fun routine when you do within your pace rather than going excessively beyond your limits, it's also recommended to stay hydrated after exercise; therefore drinking a well treated water and eating nutritious food is advisable, in the end a good time sleeping is essential.
