Sakura
One day, while I was looking at pictures of the beautiful landscapes of Japan, I was struck by a pretty pale pink tree. If you like anime, video games, Japanese movies, etc., you have probably seen their presence.
In Japan, this beautiful tree is a symbol of its culture. If we see it at first sight, we can think of beauty or femininity; however, the cherry petals (sakura) represent the ephemeral nature of life and mortality. It can also symbolize the innocence, hope, power and rebirth spring brings.
A few minutes after knowing this, I immediately took my embroidery hoop and the magic began.
Images of the process:
Maybe it's not that surprising, but I'm very happy with the result. I put it on my bedside table and now I refuse to leave my room. Smiling at the sight of it is inevitable and in some way, it fills me with peace.
