Drawing and thinking out loud

“And those who were seen dancing were thought to be insane by those who could not hear the music.”

Friedrich Nietsche.

Dance the way you feel and don’t give a damn about those who think you are insane.

It’s normal to be different. To think different. To live different. Different from those who can not hear the music.

Some people dance all the way through their life, and some just trudge looking with disdain at insane otherwise-minded dancers. They are unable to leave their unpretentious path to play some more significant role. They are deaf and blind and that is what they call being normal.

Don’t wait for their understanding and approval. Do what you feel you should do.

The most beautiful things in the world are made by narcissists.
The kindest things – by depressive ones.
Impossible things – by psychopaths.
Normal people do not contribute to the history.

I found the citation suitable for my drawing and this combination caused this verbal diarrhea. It often happens that some inconspicuous idea suddenly triggers something inside and forces you deep in thoughts. Things that have always been obvious retrieve their sense and clear up the mess in the head.

As for the drawing, I like the way it looked at this stage actually:

I wanted to make it neat and smooth, but fucked it up at some moment and decided to leave it as a sketch:)

Have a great day!
Cheers!

muy buena definición anatómica, saludos.

Отличный рисунок, Антон!

Such a great sketch! I feel like the shadows are placed just in the right places and actually the visible angle lines makes it even better - gives so much movement <3

Nice quote to work off of, and and even better post. Really liking the dynamic tension in there, and I agree with the idea of leaving it as sketch. There's something about the contrast between the perfect of the dancer's form and the unfinished nature of the work itself that it's really nice.

Great, very good measurements and reticulation

Uff friend, so pretty. The body of the girl is beautiful and the proportions perfect, but the posture! I love it very much, it continues like this. Greetings and hugs <3
