Ciertamente, la fantasía alberga seres fascinantes.
Hola nuevamente, usuarios de Steemit. En esta ocasión quise compartir con ustedes un retrato de un joven demonio que sin más posa su mirada en el lejano horizonte, pues, como quizá ya habrán notado, me dedico a diseñar personajes de esta embergadura, en vista de que me resultan enormemente atractivos (y claro, esto es lo que tienes que hacer cuando eres un aspirante a dibujar cómics). Ahora bien, me dispongo a mostarles el procedimiento que he llevado acabo para desarrollar esta ilustración.

Certainly, fantasy hosts fascinating beings.
Hello again, Steemit users. On this occasion I wanted to share with you a portrait of a young demon who no longer poses his gaze on the distant horizon, because, as you may have already noticed, I dedicate myself to design characters of this magnitude, since they are very attractive to me ( and of course, this is what you have to do when you are an aspiring to draw comics). Now, I am going to show you the procedure that I have carried out to develop this illustration.

1.

• En primera instancia, comencé por esbozar mi personaje haciendo uso del lápiz 2B (Disponible en el menú desplegable de pinceles, en la categoría sketch), con un color rojizo, pues este color, aunado al efecto del pincel, funciona como un emulador de la sanguina o pastel conté. Asimismo, le añadí algunas tramas en las zonas donde se ubicarían los tonos más bajos, con el afán de denotar este color en esas áreas.
• In the first instance, I started by sketching my character using the 2B pencil (available in the drop-down menu of brushes, in the sketch category), with a reddish color, because this color, combined with the brush effect, works like an emulator of the blood or pastel conte. Also, I added some frames in the areas where the lower tones would be located, with the desire to denote this color in those areas.

• Seguidamente, en una capa nueva, puesta debajo de la capa del boceto, comencé a esparcir un tono medio, de un color rosa pálido, con el pincel basic wet (disponible en el menú desplegable de pinceles, en la categoría wet), de un modo más bien plano. De manera que se generase una base para los venideros tonos.
• Next, in a new layer, placed under the layer of the sketch, I began to spread a medium tone, of a pale pink color, with the brush basic wet (available in the drop-down menu of brushes, in the category wet), a rather flat mode. So that a base for the coming tones was generated.

• Así pues, con el mismo pincel, y en la misma capa, ubiqué los tonos bajos.
• So, with the same brush, and in the same layer, I placed the low tones.

• De igual modo, añadí los tonos altos.
• Similarly, I added the high tones.

• En una capa nueva, ubicada por encima de la que venía trabajando, empecé a esparcir los colores. También con el pincel basic wet, presionando ligeramente la tableta gráfica.
• In a new layer, located above the one I had been working on, I began to spread the colors. Also with the brush basic wet, lightly pressing the graphic tablet.

• Acto seguido, incluí los colores y matices de la piel, con el fin de acreditarle un aspecto más vívido al joven demonio, pues de no ser así, este mantendría una apariencia que puede resulta artificiosa.
• Next, I included the colors and nuances of the skin, in order to accredit a more vivid aspect to the young demon, because otherwise, it would maintain an appearance that can be artificial.

• Seguidamente incluí los matices (añadir en cantidades casi imperceptibles, todos los colores de una composición, en todos los elementos de la misma, con la pretensión de unificarle) del resto de la ilustración. Por otra parte, además opté por intensificar los colores, como también añadir pupilas rojas al personaje, con el objetivo de darle un aspecto más sobrenatural.
• Then I included the nuances (add in almost imperceptible quantities, all the colors of a composition, in all the elements of it, with the intention of unifying it) of the rest of the illustration. On the other hand, I also opted to intensify the colors, as well as add red pupils to the character, with the aim of giving it a more supernatural aspect.

• Con el pincel quick circle big (disponible en el menú desplegable de pinceles, en all) le añadí un fondo plano, de tono bajo. Opté por un fondo oscuro, con el fin de compensar los tonos de la figura, en vista de que el tono bajo, es el más ausente en la misma.
• With the brush quick circle big (available in the drop-down menu of brushes, in all) I added a flat bottom, low tone. I opted for a dark background, in order to compensate the tones of the figure, in view of the low tone, is the most absent in it.

• Por último, decidí intensificar la línea del boceto, pues ello denotaría aún más el personaje, separándolo del fondo.
• Finally, I decided to intensify the line of the sketch, because it would denote the character even more, separating it from the background.
