When you've gone and crypto-binged all night:

Meet Owly!

This is inspired by two things: First, the impossibly cute creature known as Slothy, who I came to know through @slothicorn (please do check out this page!). If there is a Slothy, then I thought of making "Owly" who is a cryptocoin enthusiast.

The second inspiration is from the #steem-cartoon movement, a group of insanely talented artists who have an owl as a mascot. I believe they chose an owl as they work mostly at night. I found this 100% relatable as most of the drawing and posting I do on Steemit is done at night!

When I have time to make something, check my feed, replies, etc. I'd be on a crypto /Steemit binge like Mr. Owly!

I used ArtRage Lite Software to draw my feathered friend using a soft-tip Pencil for the outline and the colors. I used the paint roller brush for the brownish background and green patch of leaves.

Done!

That is super cute :) I really like the owl and the animation. I made one last night, my first technical animation of anything. It is very raw in comparison. I am working on a post about selfies right now (and self-esteem and psychopathy) and then I plan on posting my animation. Take a look later today and let me know what you think.
