Smartlands releases desktop wallet applications for Windows and MAC

Smartlands releases the desktop beta version of the wallet that comprises downloadable applications for Windows and Mac.

We are happy to invite our community members to test it and provide feedback regarding your experience, comment the code on GitHub, discuss it on our subreddit.

Current release is a beta version that operates on the Stellar testnet, but we expect to end the testing period soon. The next Smartlands wallet release will be on the public network, include the Smartlands decentralized exchange (based on the Stellar network) and feature additional capabilities.

The desktop version of the wallet does not download/store the full ledger of the Stellar network on your computer, therefore it’s very easy to install and use it. Desktop wallet provides security advantages compared to the web-based wallet while provides the same intuitive and convenient interface, low level of required resources, high performance.
