Picture Stories #151 - Sharks Overhead 🦈
I came across this wonderful overhead aquarium while visiting an attraction in Singapore, and I was reminded of a similar one I had seen a couple of years ago; although the earlier one didn't contain these many number and varieties of sharks that I could see here. This was definitely a very different and unique sight to witness and I couldn't help myself from looking up a number of times to see the various kinds of sharks that swam above our heads. I also like the way the below pictures have come out, they manage to beautifully capture the experience of seeing these magnificent creatures live.
Sharks can sometimes be dangerous to humans, but they happen to be very fascinating creatures too. Out of all the varieties of sharks, I find the hammerhead shark (the one that can be seen in the 3rd picture) the most captivating mainly owing to the way its head is shaped!
Is there any particular shark that you find interesting?

At first I thought that you somehow took a shot from behind the scuba mask you are wearing 0_o! How can we have sharks on steemit? I think that should be a rank :D
hehe scuba mask would have been cool... lol i don't think any1 would aim for a shark rank :D
That is one of the fascinating place to go, may be because even though we can dive and see everything with our own eyes but we are not able to see them so clear like due to our eye lens that is not used to see the objects under water. I remember myself spending hours observing the beauty of underwater life, many of fishes are colorful that is difficult to imagine under deep water.
You are lucky being able to capture the hammerhead shark the same time with ordinary one., I wonder if in real nature they could be neighbors too?

What a beautiful view, and certainly a giant aquarium with a unique architecture. I've never seen this before her, thanks @jznsamuel, at least I can enjoy it through your photo photo.

definitely the atmosphere is very beautiful, hopefully I can enjoy the same thing to enjoy the Aquarium with a variety of fish that we rarely see.

Octopuses, cone snails, mantis shrimps, corals - so many interesting, alien, colorful creatures in the sea. Sharks are too plain, although I wouldn't mind to meet a whale shark :o)

The hammerhead is the most unusual, it looks like an alien.
And the most terrible aquarium I saw in the children's aqua park ))) There was a huge hill, where you fly in a transparent pipe in an aquarium with sharks !!!
