*IFTAR*
IFTAR
(bahasa Arab: إفطار)
Iftar in Indonesian is known as breaking fast, referring to a banquet when Muslims break their fast during the month of Ramadan. Iftar is one of a series of worship in the month of Ramadan and is often done by a community, and people gather to break their fast together.
Iftar is done right after the maghrib time. Traditionally, dates are the first thing to eat when breaking fast. The correct iftar if it follows the original letter is ifthar (plus the letter h after the letter t because it comes from the letter tha '). But writing without the letter h was more able to be absorbed in the Indonesian vocabulary. The form of iftar is masdar isim from afthara yufthiru.
In our society, in Ramadan is often held iftar together. Referring to this term, the exact phrase used is: iftar jamai.
