Hey I was wondering if you could tell me what determines how much the payouts are, as I used to get a lot more for the same amount of SP only a few weeks ago. The whole delegation/vesting thing is so confusing to me even now that I'm still just trying to get a more complete handle on that.
The higher the vote-value => the more rewards. While you get less Steempower if Steem is higher, you get more SBD since SBD is pegged internally to 1$ - even though it gets traded outside way higher.

Where does the Steem blockchain obtain the steem/usd and sbd/usd figures from though? Coin Market Cap?
Oh I'm seeing benefits as I have like 4000 delegated but initially several weeks back I was getting over double what I was getting now. I can imagine 50 SP would be better spent in some other way or which needs holding longer term. It's great that you can actually do something with the holdings though I wish I did it sooner.
LOL maybe 50 SP can buy me another star on the whitelist ranking. Had a look at your content and it is encouraging to see that a large investment of SP exonerates one from producing regular content. It's like paying for a very long vacation.

Hey @edb1984, the payout is sadly reduced due to the STEEM price drop, which as a result reduced the vote-value.
