1.4 Funds Held on Smartsteem

Smartsteem provides no insurance and assumes no liability for STEEM or SBD held on the website; e.g. as balance, pending delegator revenue or pending funds for vote-buying, which are lost due to hardware failure, hack, software glitch, or failure of a third party service provider. Transfers made from the website to a user’s account are not insured against loss due to failed transaction, incorrect account entry, or software/hardware failures.

1.5 Authorites Given to Smartsteem

Smartsteem makes every possible effort to secure given authorities to @smartsteem (e.g. posting from Vote-Sellers). However Smartsteem provides no insurance and assumes no liability for loss of authorities due to server failure, data loss, unapproved server access by a malicious person, functionality of third-party tools such as steemconnect, or unauthorized access to applications.

1.6 Agreement to Hold Harmless

You as a user agree to hold harmless Smartsteem and its development, service team, agents, and affiliates from any claim, demand, action, damage, loss, cost or expense, including reasonable legal fees, arising out or relating to:

• Use of Smartsteem Services
• User activities which violate these terms of services
• Violation of any rights of any other person or entity.
