WHEN AN EAGLE STARES AT YOU

When we went to Davao in 2015 I took this picture of an eagle staring back at me. At that time, it is just one of the photos I took at the Eagle Conservation Park. But after 2 years the same photo speaks to me and perhaps to you as well. The Eagle is asking us if we will just settle for captivity or aim to one-day soar high in the sky with the freedom to be who we are destined to be. Are we willing to leave our comfort zone and with courage step out towards our blessing zone? We are born to excel in life. God created us in His image and likeness to fulfill our Divine purpose and that is to live a life that will be a blessing to others and that would glorify Him. We must also be grounded that soaring like an eagle is not an easy thing. It entails a lot of sacrifice and courage to keep on going no matter how tough it may be.
Now the eagle is staring back at us, telling us who we are and to hold on to the promise of God in Jeremiah 29:11 that He has great plans for us. Let us be an eagle who will one day, at God’s appointed time, will to soar high, endure all challenges and see things clearer as we fulfill our life’s purpose, our mission, our destiny.
