Again they underestimate a team that has been playing a hard game and has give problems to much bigger teams that they are facing today. What a mistake from the bookies. Nigeria has not shown anything this year, not in the African cup, not on the friendly games and certainly not in the World Cup. Iceland should be a big favorite here, and the game is not even set to 50-50, Iceland is an underdog here! What??

NIGERIA:

Yes, the Africans had a pretty decent team a few years ago, but as I mention in the previous pick, their generation is changing and they don't have the chemistry in the team. Croatia could have easily crushed them more than 2-0, but they stepped of the gas in the last 20 minutes and just played around with them. I'm not saying Nigeria doesn't have talented individuals that they could potentially score here, but it just doesn't seem very realistic that they might win here. They will go home with 0 points, I think.

ICELAND:

Again Iceland is the nation everyone has been talking about. They tied with Argentina in the first game and quite honestly they could have actually won. They have a great strong defense, a quick counter-attack which they are lethal from. A small nation, but a big heart and so much chemistry in the team, that they remind me of Greece, which won the European Championship later that year. There is no way they are the underdog here, yes the game will be a low scoring game in my opinion and maybe a tough game to watch, but they have a good shot of taking the 3 points and almost qualifying today.

PICK: ICELAND (PINNACLE SPORTS - ODD: @2.65/+165)

Even though this bet might be risky and the score might just end with 1-1, but this is a big value in my opinion. Iceland has shown teeth in the previous tournaments, but it seems like nobody here is taking them seriously. They have a better defense than Nigeria, a better offense and a greater momentum. What else do you want from your pick. The odds here should be around @1.90 - @2.00 for Iceland to win, but you never know how will Nigeria react after the first game. I'm confident they won't wake up and that Iceland takes this one.
