LIFE OF A TOWN PLANNER {PART 1}
Should I say dream comes true or Destiny fulfilled. It all started like a nightmare after spending almost 6 years seeking for admission in higher institution with No avail. OAU has been my only choice of school all those years, hmmm Medicine has also been my choice of course, so frustrating .
Did anyone tell me about 'PLANNING' ? hmmmm thinking....Nobody!!! yes nobody. I stormed into the word 'URBAN & REGIONAL PLANNING' in my crave for knowledge in the jamb brochure one night. I could remember the ONLY reason I choose the said course was because I have not heard of it, this made me conclude it is not competitive. Wasn't that funny?
Fast tracked to my 100 level has a student of urban & Regional Planning,was quit easy but from 200 level was stressful hmmm so stressful that lead alot out of the department. I could remember over 40% of the admitted student wanted to cross out to other departments after we were introduced to the course properly.
'PLANNING' was actually interesting,demanding,tasking,adventurous, we visited a lot of places including 'OBUDU CATTLE RANCH' which took us 18hrs to arrive OBUDU TOWN .
