In this generation the developement of technology is fast pace. You can definitely observe how it actually affect the lives of different people around the globe. Of course, it has it's own advantages and disadvantages.
Social Media doesn't stop with just knowing how other people manipulate their life or it is not just one tap or like. Social Media at of this moment are being used in different purposes.
(1) There are some that uses this to connect to their prospective investors and bussiness affiliates (business area). (2) Social Media as a class communication tool between students and teachers or even a tool to communicate to parents (education area). (3) Being use as an online market (Economics area).
And what I have observe is it is being used for a cause and through a SCAM or GHOST cause.
One of the advantages of Social Media is how you can connect and let the other person see what you were up to. If it takes 3 or more than 3 months before for you to be able to pick up or send your letters through post offices, now it will only take up a few minutes.
I've seen a lot of Social Media pages that talked about a Social Cause. It might be about a fundraising for a certain orphanage to fundraising to buy a new phone so they can actually make new blogs. All of these are actually good, the thing is how would you know that the page is true and legit and not just another scam?
It is hard to trust a page in which you don't even know what it is for. Social Media can be very tricky, advertising and special effects helps the scammers to actually sell it to some people specifically if it talked about money.
