VR, augmented reality, autocomplete trending tags, 3d objects
This is a couple of ideas that i have that steemit social media network should implement in their website.
Let's start with VR. I think all of you know what this is. Steemit's main strenght is it's microblogging and bitcoin feature. They do not have implemented APIS regarding uploading of 360 degree videos, 3d objects or augmented reality features in their website.
If they want to compete with facebook they should improve their video and image API to include the ability of users to upload VR videos and images.
This feature alone will boost steamit's dynamic content and it's ability to provide users interactiong and engagement with other users and to be able to act as a bitcoin marketing platform for 3rd companies. This feature alone could help the website compete with twitter since twitter only allows users to upload normal images and videos.
Both vr and augmented reality will allow a user to post rich multimedia interactive content that will most likely get upvoted by many users. Both Steemit and the users should benefit from this.
3d objects have the same criteria. Just imagine the rich experience and interaction users can have with others. If Steemit does not quickly upgrade and develope it's multimedia offerings it will be eclipsed by it's competitors.
Casting and streeming should be included here as well. I also think that all users should not only benefit from these ideas, but, autocompleting tags is a must. All users think it is annoying to have to type carefully the trending tags because if they post something really interesting and they make a mistake then the post is rendered useless because Steemit did not implement the autocomplete trending tag criteria. I mean come on guys, twitter already has this.

Also i think they could benefit organizing trending topics and your posts like when you view folders in your pcs. It is a mess the design they have right now. You post something then a second later someone posts another thing and your post goes down
I have at least three Virtual Reality related posts I have made on Steemit I can think of, I definitely believe there is future in it and it is a growing market.
I think we need to insist. There is a future and it is happening now! Internet is shifting towards VR and augmented reality and 3d objects. This will be completed between the web 3.0 and web 4.0. Steemit should improve and implement its multimedia content and capabilities. Websites are including that feature such as ecommerce website to allow users to view items in a 3dimensional way and interact with them before buying. It is a way to "try and see the real thing before you buy it".
You are preaching to the choir. Look at this users post https://steemit.com/steemfest/@steemland.com/steemland-open-for-visiting-and-adding-art-people-photographs-and-pictures then go down to the comments. I think VR and Steem may be more hand and hand than people believe if Steemland is something the users enjoy.
How about trying to upload a picture just to see if it can be viewed in a 360 degree way like facebook? I am not asking too much i will try it myself now.
You will have to message the runner of @steemland.com who is @virtualgrowth as I have not tried the system Steemland is being used on myself, but it seems like it would be a very workable option to have in VR
